About the role
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for a marketing and communications professional to join a unique and forward-thinking environmental consultancy. You will be responsible for delivering the company’s marketing and communications activity. This will support each of the seven workstreams in securing new work as well as promoting the success of current and past projects and raising the visibility of senior leadership. The role is a maternity cover so comes with a fixed term 12-month contract from October 2021 for 37.5 hours per week, five weeks holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays. We are flexible on location for the right candidate, although have an office in Bristol which you will need to visit regularly.

Profile
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive marketing and communications professional with the experience, confidence and know-how to take our marketing operation to the next level. Confident enough to lead on marketing strategy but ready to roll your sleeves up, you will bring new ideas, fresh energy and digital thinking to the table to:
· Refine our brand identity and build brand awareness
· Position Resource Futures as a key influencer in sustainability and environmental policy in the UK and internationally
· Support high quality lead generation through B2B marketing, campaigns and content
· Execute internal communications and events
As marketing and communications manager, you will lead on all marketing and communications activity for the company with guidance and strategic support from a Director.
