Christmas Drinks 2019

MISSION STATEMENT

Future Leap, our Network and The Festival of Sustainable Business' collective mission is to give organisations the space, knowledge, contacts and tools to accelerate their sustainability journey and progress towards carbon neutrality. Through showcasing the most innovative solutions, facilitating the most future thinking discussions and collaborating with the most sustainable experts in businesses.

Established in 2005, and formerly known as The Future Economy Network, the newly announced Future Leap Network is one of the largest green business networks in the UK, promoting collaboration and innovation as a tool in tackling the climate crisis.

The Future Leap Network facilitate weekly high-quality sustainability-related events and networking opportunities for a business audience. In 2019, we delivered 57 events throughout Bristol, North Somerset, B&NES and South Gloucestershire, with a total of over 3000 attendances. These events have now gone virtual, meaning we have welcomed attendees from as far afield as Australia to share in our sustainability discussions!

In 2018, The Future Leap Network launched their inaugural Festival of Sustainable Business which saw 1500 attendees, over 60 expert speakers and over 50 exhibitors all with the shared aim of progressing the Bristol region’s sustainability journey.

In 2020, in response to the climate and ecological emergency, we opened the Future Leap Hub: a carbon neutral sustainable business hub offering retail, co-working, event and meeting space, sustainability consultancy, exhibition space and an eco-café and catering service. This Bristol-based hub brings together like-minded companies and acts as a showcase for sustainable businesses. It is also the home of The Future Leap team!
