Zedify Bristol Expand & Refer a Friend for 10 Free Deliveries

It has been 4 months since Zedify launched Bristol’s first dedicated zero emission delivery & consolidation service and a lot has happened in that relatively short period of time. We have doubled our fleet of vehicles, recruited more riders, and are on track to move into our new consolidation hub in September. Located at the bottom of the M32, on the edge of the proposed clean air zone, the Zedify Bristol hub is perfectly placed for businesses and organisations to cut their journeys and emissions. Dropping off once into our hub we then do the rest, transferring goods on to our fast, low impact, cost effective e-cargo bikes before delivering across the city.

June saw our busiest month to date, with our friendly professional riders actively delivering over 1000 items for 34 local businesses covering over 1400 miles across all areas of the city with a variety of goods such as flowers, coffee, artisan beers, cheese, bakery goods, veg boxes, office furniture, laptops, documents, you name it we can deliver it. We strengthened our fleet with the addition of 2 brand new EAV 4 wheel e-cargo bikes - these are the first to be seen on the streets of Bristol and are perfect for delivery of items to those hard to reach addresses and congested areas of the city - gone are the days of frustrated customers and parking tickets! The beauty of these eye-catching bikes is that they can carry up to 150kgs of goods and our riders can pedal along the city’s cycling infrastructure avoiding the traffic jams ensuring orders arrive on time and in good condition.

This isn’t just a fad, we firmly believe that e-cargo bike logistics have a significant part to play in the mix of decarbonising urban transport and here is why:

- Online sales are at a record high with 34% share of retail spending, the majority of these

orders need delivering by some means or another.

- A World Economic Forum report states that:

- Emissions from last mile deliveries are on track to rise over 30% in ten years as the number of urban dwellers and online shoppers grows.

- The demand for urban last mile delivery will grow 78% by 2030 leading to a 36% rise in delivery vehicles in inner cities.

- Customers are demanding action from brands and city authorities, a report from returns management platform ReBound states that 75% of shoppers would be more likely to buy from a brand that offers a green delivery option.

The need for a shift to zero-emissions logistics has never been clearer, and we are on a mission to reduce congestion and emissions, supporting our collective ambitions for Bristol to reach net zero by 2030. Our electric cargo bikes use 98% less CO2 per km compared with a diesel van and each cargo bike prevents 7.04kg of NOx from being emitted each year.

We have a credible alternative to the reliance on combustion engine vehicles, why not give us a try and if you refer a friend you can both receive 10 free deliveries. Contact us today bristol@zedify.co.uk or 01172 141 202.
