As we move towards 2021, the choices that governments, organisations and individuals make about how to ‘build back better’ are being put under the spotlight; at Action Net Zero, we’re here to help Bristol’s organisations showcase their actions.
Action Net Zero is a Community Interest Company and digital platform. Our aim is to be the ‘go to’ platform for actions, tools, and guides to being greener in Bristol; a place for organisations to promote, share and showcase their sustainable products, services and achievements.
Our mission is to support sustainable organisations, initiatives and the local economy by shining a light on organisations who are doing good, to support their growth; based on the simple premise that collectively we are stronger and collaboratively we can all profit - environmentally, socially and financially.
Since our recent launch in September we have seen over 5,800 unique visitors per month, with some features having average sessions times of over 6 minutes, and some strong engagement themes beginning to emerge. We’re now featuring a range of companies, all with unique and rewarding stories, from Global search engine brand Ecosia to sustainability services company Go Climate Positive, and Giki promoting their apps for both business and consumers. We are also supporting local independents in these challenging times, promoting Christmas gift ideas from Frankly and The Plastic Free Shop and listings on slow fashion shops and vegan eateries in Bristol, helping to build awareness, engage and nudge buying behaviours, one step at a time. We’re open for all, with free business listings across core categories including food, waste, energy, transport and nature.
Our model is one of scale - the more organisations we can feature on the site, sharing their products and services, stories and achievements, the more we can connect services, and promote and build engagement. We are currently planning a ‘Switched on’ campaign for early 2021, aligned to our question, ‘What’s your organisation doing for the environment?, showcasing member organisations and actions. If you’d like to know more about this campaign, please contact pam@actionnetzero.org to see if your company could benefit or register below and we’ll be in touch.
To help enable as many organisations as possible to be included we are offering a limited time offer to become Action Net Zero members for £175 plus VAT annually (just £15 per month), which will provide a full listing within our directory, a written feature of your organisation on our homepage, inclusion in relevant monthly guides and social amplification. If FEN members sign up by December 11th, your business will be included in our ‘Switched on’ campaign programme. Please note that the standard offer of £175 plus VAT per annum ends on 31st December, 2020.
