Skylark is proud to have partnered with the fund to create four films promoting its winners. We travelled to Scotland, London and Newcastle to meet the innovators behind the projects. This is just one step closer to moving our society to a more greener, sustainable future.
On Friday, Ecosurety announced the first recipients of their £1m fund to support projects that aim to reduce the environmental impact of packaging, batteries or WEEE through innovation or research in the UK. The winners are: Fit for reuse (Reuse Network), BOSS 2D (Impact Recycling), Maximising recycling from purpose-built flats (London Waste and Recycling Board) and CellMine (Impact Solutions).
We're super proud to have made the films which highlights the work that these projects are hoping to deliver, whether it's extracting rare earth materials from lithium-ion batteries to enable a low energy, low cost recycling process (CellMine) or using technology to combat and improve the recycling of plastic film (Boss 2D). Skylark's film crew travelled to Scotland, Newcastle and London to meet the innovators behind these projects. One of these projects is also led by a local organisation in Bristol, the Reuse Network.
