#Take15 and enter Dial A Geek’s tasty competition!

Dial A Geek, a Bristol-based Managed Service Provider, celebrates its 15th birthday!

Since Gildas Jones founded the company in 2006, Dial A Geek provided IT solutions and consultancy to nearly a thousand businesses in Bristol and the UK. From one man working from a laptop perched atop his ironing board to a team of 8, Dial A Geek has come a long, long way – and they could not have done it without their friends, mentors, colleagues, and clients.

That is why they’d like to make their 15th birthday a celebration of the important people in their business life. ‘Our main mission is to unlock people’s potential – now we’d like to say thank you to all the people who helped unlock ours!’, says Gildas Jones. Dial A Geek’s #Take15 campaign will reflect on the last 15 years for the Geeks (and their business journey), in the IT industry (‘Hidden Faces’ behind big events - people who made things happen through tech), and on Bristol business scene (‘Bristol’s Finest’).

Tweet @dialageek if you can think of any big events or inspiring Bristol entrepreneurs that you’d like the Geeks to write about (self-promotion strongly encouraged). The campaign will also gaze into the future and focus on the heroes and inspirations of Dial A Geek’s apprentices and younger business partners. Use the #Take15 hashtag to join the discussion on social media – where were you 15 years ago and how did your life/business/industry change since? What do you think the next 15 years will bring?

Dial A Geek also partnered up with Josh Eggleton of Pony & Trap and Kensington Arms to run a free to enter competition with a tasty prize to win – a lunch for two at Eggleton’s new restaurant, The Pony Bistro (opening in Bedminster in May). All you need to do, is guess correctly the name of the original
