Green Tech South West will welcome Dan Lewis-Toakley, Green Cloud Lead for ThoughtWorks North America to talk about understanding, measuring and reducing the energy and carbon emissions of public cloud use. Dan will breakdown how to look at this problem, as well as how we can approach calculating and reducing these emissions. He will also explore existing tools in the space, and introduce a new open source tool ThoughtWorks has launched called Cloud Carbon Footprint.
