Before COVID-19 we were already facing unprecedented upheaval. Now, all the norms of our working and personal lives are under massive strain. As our business ecosystems are threatened like never before, we’re all experiencing uncertainty and a loss of control.

To help us navigate our way through these uniquely challenging times, we’ve been hosting a series of online conversations for leaders to share their experience and learn from each other.

These sessions are a mix of joint inquiry, experimentation and meaningful discussion. We use them to explore, manage and harness our learning each week, and to

  • Connect with each other in deep dialogue

  • Demonstrate empathy with each other’s situation and feelings

  • Use experimentation, to quickly process our learning and develop agile responses

  • Discover how to innovate business performance, now and for the upswing

From our conversations so far, in March and early April, key questions have come up that you may wish to consider yourselves:

  • How will we look back at this time? What legacy are we creating now by how we lead?

  • Whatever the next phase may be, how are we setting ourselves up ready for success?

  • What changes is this crisis accelerating?

  • How do we lead in a recession, or even a depression if that is what it comes to, rather than return to ‘normal’?

On-line workshops

These discussions and the issues raised in them identified a need for leaders, coaches and HR and L&D managers to have help now on how to:

  1. Make virtual sessions work well

  2. Deliver strong people leadership

  3. Ensure teams are resilient and perform, when remote

  4. Process the turbulence and sustain our mental health

  5. Make sales as effective as possible

  6. ‘Leapfrog’ thinking for the future ‘upcurve’

Orchard House Partners have developed a series of online workshops that will run over the coming months. They will help you, your teams and your organisation as a whole, get through this crisis and be ready to respond positively when the recovery and reinvention phase begins.
