In recognition of our sustainable business hub, the award was won for “an impressive commitment to carbon neutrality”. Our site has been acknowledged for expanding sustainability knowledge locally through a challenging project in a built-up area. The building, located on Bristol’s notorious Gloucester Road, has been praised for creating a quality space, built in a sustainable manner and working to engage the community.
Our hub is home to a sustainability ecosystem, providing the tools and infrastructure to support organisations and individuals’ sustainability journey and progress towards carbon neutrality.
Future Leap is the first hub of its kind in the UK, offering consultancy, environmental technologies, carbon neutral co-working space and events hire, an ethical cafe and eco-shop, as well as a proven membership and events programme championing all areas of sustainability.
The building itself is carbon neutral, having been refurbished and repurposed. Home to one of Bristol’s largest living walls, a cutting edge air source heat pump, energy efficient lighting and circular economy principles throughout the building, the hub is one-of-a-kind.
We couldn’t be happier to be recognised for our team’s hard work and dedication towards carbon neutrality.
While we reflect on our efforts and celebrate this wonderful achievement, we recognise that there is still much work to be done. We cannot tackle the climate crisis alone. Our team continue to champion all things sustainable while supporting others on their journey, and we very much look forward to what the future brings.
