Welcome to the Weather and Climate Training Academy. From open-to-all virtual webinars offering an introduction to meteorology and climate change, to technical discussions of simulation and modelling, to corporate bespoke training for groups of senior engineers, our courses are designed to help you understand how the weather impacts your business now and in the future.

To introduce ourselves, we invite you to a free introductory 1 hour lunch and learn webinar discussing why businesses need to care about the weather and climate change, and why by understanding the weather NOW, you will be better prepared for the weather of the future. We will also offer the opportunity afterwards to sign up for a limited ‘meet the team’ Q&A session to speak to our experts about your specific needs around weather and climate.

For the past 10 years Digital Engineering has helped companies understand, mitigate, and manage the impact of the weather and climate on their business. Whether that has been helping wind farm developers find the best sites, helping energy traders make the best trades, or enabling transmission grid owners to manage their infrastructure more effectively, we have been delivering first class solutions to weather related problems.

In recent years, our customers started asking us to help them improve their understanding of the weather and the weather of the future. Digital Engineering started providing these clients with tailored training courses to do this. Our clients found lots of value by having a basic grounding in meteorology as well as bespoke technical training on how the weather affects their businesses. The feedback was so good, that we decided to launch a dedicated training academy to allow us to deliver training to a much wider audience.

Over the following months we will be running a series of more in-depth sessions looking at weather and climate modelling and analysis, and the application of that knowledge.
